To prepare for neck CT imaging, dress in comfortable, lose fitting clothes. At the appointment, you will be asked to remove any metals that might obstruct the neck CT such as earrings, glasses, dentures, dental implants or bras with metal wire.
On the day of your neck CT imaging, continue taking your regular medicines prescribed by your doctor. Please inform our office of any known allergies to medications. Also, let our radiologist or technologist know if you have asthma, multiple myeloma or any disorder of the heart, kidneys, or thyroid gland, or if you have diabetes before receiving a neck CT.
