You should wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing on the day of your prostate MRI exam. However, you may be asked to wear a gown during the exam. You will be asked to remove all metal objects including jewelry, watches, dentures, and removable hearing aids prior to your exam.
Guidelines about eating and drinking before a prostate MRI vary with the specific exam. Unless you are told otherwise, you may follow your routine daily routine and eat and take medications as usual.
