Prior to your CT guided neck mass biopsy appointment, consult with your radiologist or technologist about your current medications and if you need to stop taking any of those medications on the day of your exam. Your physician may advise you to stop taking aspirin or blood thinner for a specific period of time before your procedure.
You may be asked to withhold eating after midnight the night prior to the procedure.
Be sure to inform your radiologist or technologist of any recent illnesses and other medical conditions. Women should always inform their radiologist or technologist if there is any possibility that they could be pregnant.
